The DIVA Foundation Mission Statement

As artists without borders, we come together to celebrate humanity through our commonalities, our shared love of our diverse artistic and cultural experiences, and to share those human experiences with all who desire a greater understanding of the possibilities within each individual.

We are committed to our shared responsibility and duty to help others discover and attain their full potential by sharing our time, talents and treasures of our artistic knowledge, without imposing a way of life, politics or spirituality on others.

We will assist in anyway we can to help those less fortunate, whether due to economic, educational, social or cultural deficits, in an effort to bring about changes in attitudes and encouraging a better understanding of our responsibilities to each other as human beings.

We believe in order to achieve true equality and lasting peace, we must transcend race, sex, class and status, our tribes and clans, and our nations. We also believe it is essential to develop a world perspective; not as rulers, managers or stewards of the Earth, but as responsible participants in the community of life we all share on and with the Earth.

We dedicate ourselves to raising awareness that we are all one race – The Human Race; and that every human being has within them the ability to achieve their full potential without sacrificing their humanity.

We pledge to encourage harmony while pursuing the goal of true equality and the development of artistic expression for every being on this planet.
